Our Story

In January of 2016 the shop was purchased by Jayme Jo Ahmann and opened under the name Finn's Custom Meats LLC. It was previously known as Onalaska Custom Meats, and before that Pete's Custom Meats. The building was originally an auto mechanic shop before it was transformed into a custom meat shop.

The crew at Finn's Custom Meats is proud to serve the community of Lewis County and beyond through cleanliness, honest service and of course, quality meat cuts.

My name is Jayme Jo. I was born, raised and corn fed here in Onalaska. I grew up on a family farm producing cattle for beef and hay for market.

This is my dog, Finn. She loves working with cows and so do I. Together we are growing a small herd out of Toledo.

Livestock is in my blood. I showed horses and steer for 4-H and worked in local dairy farms as a youngster. After earning a technical degree in water resources in Walla Walla, I made the decision to come home, to be back in the barn with the cows.

Through good faith, good friends and lots of hard work I've been able to continuously provide custom butcher services to local farmers and clients. Please stop by and say hi and I hope you'll choose us to process your next animal.
